As an organisation we take pride in supporting the local community. As part of this approach, we are keen to promote local groups and businesses. Dog & Partridge
One of our local pubs situated on Church Lane. Serving great, wholesome food in a contemporary country pub atmosphere. Always has three well kept real ales on the bar. Lots of weekly activities and special dining events.
Bulls Head
Our other very local pub is situated on Bag Lane. A traditional country pub featuring good real ales in a traditional setting. Home made food available on Friday and Saturday evenings. Regular events and activities.
Marchington Community Shop
Our local shop provides an essential service to the village and surrounding areas. The shop is managed and run mainly by a dedicated band of volunteers. A wide variety of foods, wines and domestic products are available.
Village Halls
There are two village halls in the parish; one in Marchington and the other in Marchington Woodlands. They both host a wide variety of events and activities.
